Peak Hike
For the last 16 years, Breast Cancer Fund supporters have taken one step at a time for prevention at Peak Hike. The event raises money to support our work to eliminate the environmental causes of the disease, and also brings together teams of family and friends who want to honor loved ones touched by breast cancer.
Taking place in Northern California's beautiful Marin Headlands, Peak Hike is a one-day hike and healthy-living expo for breast cancer prevention. Along the seven-mile route on Mt. Tamalpais, hikers will spend the day with family, friends and others committed to stopping breast cancer before it starts.
After the hike, participants enjoy pampering, an organic lunch and an expo to learn how to reduce their risk. In line with the Breast Cancer Fund's work, we strive to make Peak Hike is a sustainable event committed to protecting our bodies and environment.
Peak Hike 2011 was a resounding success under beautiful skies. Thank you to all the hikers, donors and supporters who made this event possible and helped to raise nearly $200,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund! A special thank you to our generous sponsors: LUNA,Ahnu Footwear and Blossom Organics.
