A Journey to "Little Tibet"
Join veteran trekking guide Cathy Ann Taylor for an extraordinary hiking adventure to one of the most amazing destinations on earth! Ladakh, a remote region of India, lies north of the Great Himalaya on the Tibetan Plateau, and is often referred to as "Little Tibet."
In this starkly beautiful lunar landscape, ancient monasteries perch atop high hills under a cerulean sky, while soaring snow-clad mountains rise in the distance. The 10-day trek brings participants from the green fertile fields of the Indus River Valley to incredible moonscapes that seem part of another world. Along the way trekkers have a chance to meet the local people in their remote villages, admire striking Buddhist artifacts in magnificent monasteries, and visit the base camp of Tsomothang (19,872'), where they'll enjoy views of the Greater Himalaya, including K2 and the Karakoram. Participants also fundraise for the Breast Cancer Fund.
Interested participants must first register with Cattara—Adventures with Insight. Once registered, participants will receive instructions for building their personal fundraising pages on the Breast Cancer Fund website.

About Sacred Treks
Founded in 2008, the Sacred Treks program has taken participants to Bhutan, Mont Blanc, Machu Picchu and Everest and has raised $350,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund's work to prevent the disease. Since 1997, Cathy Ann has been a training leader and team member on the Breast Cancer Fund's Climb Against the Odds mountain expeditions to benefit breast cancer prevention. Join her on this truly sacred trek inspired by the women and men touched by cancer with whom she has climbed.
