Beyond the Pink: From Awareness to Prevention

Go Beyond the PinkIt’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, when pink ribbons blanket everything from cosmetics to food cans, urging us to be aware of breast cancer. But when 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with the disease, how much more awareness do we need? The Breast Cancer Fund is working to shift the conversation from awareness to prevention. We’re working to stop this disease before it starts, and we need the support of millions of people like you. You can start by pledging to go beyond the pink to prevention.

In just a generation we’ve witnessed a 40-percent increase in breast cancer, and we know that environmental factors like toxic chemical exposures have played a major role. The Breast Cancer Fund is working to eliminate our exposure to toxic chemicals linked to the disease so that fewer of us, our daughters and increasingly our sons will ever have to hear the words, “You have breast cancer.”

Join the Breast Cancer Fund in pledging to go beyond the pink to prevention. Once you take the pledge, you'll receive a toolkit full of information on how you can avoid toxic chemicals in your home and when you're out shopping.

I pledge to go beyond the pink because I'm already aware of breast cancer. Now I want to stop it before it starts.

Dare Revlon to Go Beyond the Pink

“Dare to be Revlon.” That’s Revlon’s motto. But with all the chemicals linked to cancer and other serious health concerns in Revlon products, no woman should take that dare.

Beyond the Pink for the next generationThis Breast Cancer Awareness Month, tell Revlon that if it really cares about cancer—and if it dares to take credit for helping women with cancer—it’s time to come clean and remove toxic chemicals from its products.
